SSI’s Sample Is Audited and Recognized for Methodological Excellence

SSI’s telephone database update and sampling processes have been successfully audited by Ernst & Young every year since 1998. The audits are performed as part of the annual Media Ratings Council audit of syndicated ratings data produced by Arbitron Inc. and Scarborough Research. Our company maintains one of the few samples in market research with this seal of approval, which is especially important for legal, government and other studies where absolute precision is key.

Additionally, SSI’s sample is Grand Mean audited, recognized in North America and Europe for clearly demonstrating “an ability to be consistent in more markets than any other company.” After five years of testing more than 300 panels in 35 countries, the Grand Mean Project™ has identified only 11 panels that have demonstrated SSI’s exceptional consistency.

SSI is also very active in the areas of security and privacy, developing successful fraud detection/ fraud prevention techniques. We frequently act as consultants to other sample providers and panel owners for guidance in combating this industry-wide issue.

SSI Quest Awards: Engaging Panelists to Improve Research Results

We are changing up the way we present The 7th annual SSI Quest Awards this year. With the continuous rise of mobile, SSI has created two award tracks for 2016. The Quest-X Awards are given to the companies that have the best "post" survey scores from respondents. The Quest-M Awards are given to companies that scored the highest Quest Test Scores for mobile responsiveness.
